i had the most amazing dinner at tapas tree
if u guys clearly remember my last meal there,
i said that it was a disappointment
but this time round it was rather filling
the company was great
we got a 30% discount
i was with jali, faraq and jess

jess was one of 9 that was stranded together with us
carolyn n matt couldn't make it
after dinner, we took a stroll to eski bar
then off to long bar at raffles hotel
to have a sip at the singapore sling
it was an intimate affair
company great, ambiance great, food great
it was just perfect!

i was delayed by one whole day
stuck in the thai-malaysian border
for one and a half hour
waiting to no avail for the van to come
all 12 of us stranded
all flooded
all black out
strapless
hungry!!!!!


the last nite was really an adventure
we set off from koh phangan s.k home
at 0600 hours on sunday expecting to arrive singapore
on monday at 1200hours the latest

as u noe, there is no such thing as a perfect
timing much more a perfect world
all the trouble started when we kept
changing the waiting point for the mini bus to pick us up
we are being transferred from point a to point b and to point c
finally at point c we got the mini bus or rather a mini van
that will take us from dongsak all the way to hatyai

freaking 7 hours all 12 cramped in a van for 9 11 person!
3 english
3 finnish
3 irish
3 freaking singaporean

and it didn stop till at hatyai
when we reach the thai-malaysian border
the driver asked us to get out and walk across the border
telling us to wait on the malaysian side
and affirming us that he will pick us up there

we wait n wait n wait n the time shows 2330hours
30 more mins and the border will close!
by now it has definitely hit us that we are
being conned! the 3 irish decided to go back to thailand
as their sole purpose to malaysia is just to get
their visa renewed so that they can go back to thailand

ask for me, i have to get back home die die by monday!
when we decided that it was no point to wait
we decided to take action
we hailed and hitch hiked any car that pass by the border
to bring us to the nearest town which is chang lun
the roads towards there are all closed and getting there is impossible
but we prayed and crosses our fingers that we will get there
we do not want to end up sleeping on the road

a taxi came to a halt, and old pakcik
who is more anxious to go home to see his son
than bring us to a safer place reluctantly
gave us a lift
a car also stopped and we told them we only have 50 ringgit on our body
and he dont mind riding us a lift to the nearest town

when we reached chang lun, the whole place was mess
all black out and flooded
they alighted us at the hotel nearby
and left. knocking on the door, no body answered
i reckon they are all sleeping. no receptionist
no rooms no nothing
a few minutes later, 3 malaysian guy
came down and asked wat we wanted
they are hotel guests and we told them our plight
and generously they offered to drive us
to kuala perlis at no charge
they decided kuala perlis as there will be more
hotel rooms and that there will be more options
on buses taking us to our destinations

back on the road cramped into 2 cars and 30 minutes
later after passing all the flood we arrived at kuala perlis
we managed to find a room, and all 9 of us bunked in
in to the $75RM room. we had dinner (the malaysian guy brought us still at no charge)
and went to sleep all over the floor.
i didnt took the bed as faraq and jessie took it
the other bed, matt and carolyn shared it
so me, jali, mika, daniela and the other finnish guy took the floors
woke up at 9 am, and we all quickly get to the bus terminal
to get our tickets to our destinations
kuala perlis - singapore 1930hrs
kuala perlis - k.l 1200hrs

we had to think, we had to decide
and we took the bus with everyone else
to kl and we think its a better option
rather than to wait till 1930hrs to get the bus to singapore

ah shit...i have to get back to work now
my break is up
will continue later

i will be working on christmas
i will be working on the night shift on new year eve and new year
it sucks big time!!!

zany frantic and above all fun
by 2.50 am i was a goner
had too much of bucket

today was a lazy day
took some ******* at purple haze
so was dazed most part of the evening
just had my dinner at casablance
and now waiting to go either
cactus or drop in bar
either or, i will definitely have fun

made a new fren from new zealand,
spoke to a couple of malaysians
that look as tho they are there
on a mission
and of course, met some arrogant
singaporeans, well
except for this one guy called halim

the stay here since tuesday has been
no doubt fun
sad to leave coming sunday tho

this evening they have a boxing match at
hadrin stadium. thats always the case the day
before full moon party
and when tomorro comes, i will
definitely be gyrating with 10000 odd
new friends for the full moon party

no guessing where i am right now
in the heart of the island
where the monthly party starts
at 6pm and only end at 9 am the next day
it is no doubt that the koh phangan party
is the party or in fact
the only full moon party that everyone
a party animal should go to
or at least heard off
otherwise, their so call proclaiment of
a party animal is BULLSHIT!


this will be my second full moon party
after the one that i went in jan 03
i pray and hope that dec 16 (thats when the
party is) will be a blast or infact
better than the one that i went to

unlike last time, which was a backpack trip
for almost 3 weeks, this one will be
a one week trip solely in koh phangan
we arrive last nite, and after finding
a place to stay for the next 5 nights,
we head down for dinner and straight away
to boogie at cactus
i reckon tonite or infact the rest of our stay
will be music, booze, music, and more booze

come dec 16 i will be revelling the night
or infact morning away with 10,000 other new friends
for the full moon party
i had met some interesting guys and girls
some even mistook me for a thai (which is common)
but there was this one aussie who
mistook me for a L******!
damn him! but i gave him props coz he is cute


with regards to buying stuff for friends,
i am sorry but i will try my very best k fik?
i am on a tight budget
really really tight and i mean really budget
i brought only $300 sing dollars and i hope it
will last me thruout
of course i brought along my visa and mc JUST IN CASE
but i promise myself never or not to use it
see if it works out *crosses finger*

the room that we stayed in is ok
990 baht for triple sharing
it is clean and the staff is friendly
we stayed at S.K Hotel
it is very conveniently located

we just had lunch at the om ganesh indian rest
in hope to find raj
but sadly, raj has went back to nepal
and oh yes...we went back to coco hut but
it was all booked. the only rooms
they have available is the higher class
which i am not going to be able to pay!

here i am at the internet cafe, charging as little
as 2baht per minute and i just got some of my pics burnt to
a cd at only 100baht!
i am sure gonna print my pics here as well like i did
last time

anyway if u must noe, work still sucks
the management is crap, the bosses are down right
******, the angmoh crap is back from his holiday
it was so much quieter when he is away playing some
thai and vietnamese girls
but it is my passion for the hospitality line
that keepes me going
until i find a better offer i will stay there

bottom line is...it sucks big time!
ah...i am not goin to talk abt work
coz it will only spoil my mood
stupid people!

back to paradise and heaven on earth
i think i am going to try some new stuff
i am sure zabid and fik would noe what i
am talking about

local time is now 4 pm,
gonna head down to lazy house for a bite and
people watching. tell u manis, it is such a heaven
for eye candy! i miss u loads!
